Preliminary laboratory-scale tests

The experimental campaign begins! Preliminary tests were conducted in the high-pressure laboratory reactor of UNITUS by using the stabilised organic fraction, landfill leachate and concentrate supplied by EcoVt. The ultimate and proximate analysis highlighted enhanced characteristics of the produced hydrochar by using landfill leachate as a moisture source rather than the concentrate.
